Ex-ONWARD Guitarist To Complete New Solo CD In May

February 22, 2007

Ex-ONWARD guitarist Toby Knapp has posted the following message on his MySpace page:

"The wait is almost over for the seriously revamped pressing of the demo for ONWARD's posthumous third album 'The Neverending Sun'! It has been nice to finally see all these 'unreleased' recordings materialize these last few months.

"'Polarizing Lines' [Knapp's instrumental album, which came out in 2005] continues to sell nicely and seems to just do better on its own accord with very little promotion.

"I estimate my newest album with former INTO ETERNITY vocalist Dean Sternberg finished by May 2007. He's been keeping me up-to-date with his recording progress and creepy lyric ideas. Why we get so inspired by such hellish things I'll never understand. I've played samples of the material for several of my hometown metal friends and they seem pleasantly surprised."

The debut album from Knapp's black metal project WAXEN was issued through Metalbolic Records. Entitled "Fumaroth", the CD consists of recordings that were completed for WAXEN's 2004 demo and includes the track "Splendid Impure Light", which can currently be sampled on Metalbolic's MySpace.com page.

Knapp recently contributed lead guitar work to the split CD featuring the one-man death metal band SEEKING OBSCURE and UNBURIED.
